Seven years ago today, we took a leap and started our small business. No roadmap, no guarantees - just a whole lot of passion, hope, and a dream to create something special. Since then, we’ve grown, learned, adapted, and poured everything we have into building a space we’re proud of. It’s been a journey full of highs, lessons, beautiful moments, and everything in between. We are not looking for sympathy, but the truth is, the last couple of years have been some of the hardest we’ve ever faced. Soaring costs across the board, from ingredients to running costs and wages, have made it harder and harder to keep things afloat. Every month feels like a balancing act, every decision comes with a weight we didn’t feel in the early years. Add to that the relentless pressure of running a business in a system that doesn’t feel built for small independents, and it feels like the odds are stacked against us. And then there’s the mental load - the anxiety that creeps in during the quiet moments, the sleepless nights spent worrying about tomorrow, the emotional toll of trying to stay positive for everyone else when you’re running on empty. Despite all of that, we are still here. To our lovely team: Your heart, your hustle, and your constant care - this business wouldn’t be what it is without you.
